What is the typical duration of an After Dark event?
Our curated experiences typically span two hours. This window allows for coming together with drinks, games, discussions, and mini pop-up bookstore.
What are the space requirements for a host?
A comfortable setting, a candlelit lounge, a quiet terrace, or your living room—where your circle can gather. We provide the velvet accents and literary ambiance to transform your existing space.
What am I expected to provide as the host?
Your role is to assemble your guests and provide the venue. We handle the book curation and guided discussion. Optional add-ons like ambiance materials and cocktails/mocktails.
What if I need to change the date?
I understand that plans can change! If you need to reschedule your After Dark party, one complimentary date change is available when requested at least 3 weeks before your original party date, subject to availability.
Date changes requested less than 3 weeks before the original party date are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee and are also subject to availability.
Changes requested within 7 days of the party may not be able to be accommodated, depending on vendor, venue, and preparation commitments.
Your original deposit will transfer to the new date when a date change is approved.
