A Bookstore That Comes to You.

The Velvet Bookmark is a mobile bookstore based in the Dayton, Ohio area, bringing carefully chosen books to pop-ups, markets, festivals, private events, and literary gatherings throughout Southwest Ohio.

Our shelves are intentionally curated rather than built to compete with big-box bookstores or online retailers. You'll find new releases, used treasures, Ohio and independent authors, unusual finds, Blind Dates with a Book, and books chosen simply because they're worth discovering.

Because sometimes finding the right book should feel like an experience of its own.
